Problem: How to combine two pieces into one bangle and get continuous pattern with perfectly matching halves? We’ve done a similar thing before (Poison ivy) but back then there was no need to match the pattern.
Solution: Cut a perfectly good bangle in half and put it back together. With Poison ivy we’ve made two separate pieces and with a lot of meticulous sanding and shaping made them to fit together. Doing it this way was too much trouble so it was time to brainstorm.
This time we weren’t in the mood for complicating and decided to cut cured but unfinished bangle in half. It felt strange cutting few hours of work in half but it turned out great and actually easier.
