You probably remember Blue moon bangle bracelet which we published not long ago. My friend liked it a lot but it was too small for her. She also loves red, so I made her a slightly larger red one with matching pair of earrings.
Because she wanted a bigger bangle than we usually make, we needed to start differently. The inner frame was needed, so we made one from sheet metal (patiently bent in to round shape and soldered together). Around the frame came first the inner (smooth white) and then the outer layer of clay (cherry red relief). After baking came the necessary sanding and polishing.
And just a curiosity: the inner diameter of the bangle is 7 cm which is a medium size by my standards. So far all the bangles were smaller (6,5 cm) which is sort of a classic bangle size.
